| Laura Richmond Designs may use stainless steel wire, beading floss or other natural or synthetic stringing material accepted in the standard methods of jewelry construction to assemble the pieces. Metals used are noted in each item description and may be sterling, vermeil, pewter or other. The stones are generally semi-precious. These and the pearls have been selected and assembled to give an unstructured, relaxed feel to the designs. Variations in these natural materials are not to be considered flaws or defects. Laura Richmond Designs Jewelry All Laura Richmond Designs items are individually handmade. The designs change fairly frequently and some items may not be made more than a few times; many only once. If more than one of an item has been made, there may be minimal variations from the photograph on the website and the actual materials ultimately used to make the piece you will receive. You will be notified of any substantial differences before processing your request. If you wish to order a piece in a different length than what is shown, please contact us so that we can verify that the materials needed are on hand. We will quote any substantial change in price based on the requested modification prior to making the piece. Payment Methods Payment by check may be made by mailing in your order along with payment in full or through PayPal on the website. NOTE: Since some of the jewelry designs are one of a kind, you may wish to fax your order in advance of mailing the payment. We will confirm that the requested pieces are available and will place the items on a courtesy hold for five business days, pending receipt of payment by mail. Please allow time for your check to clear the bank; between 3-5 business days; before your order is shipped out to you. Pieces without an "Add to Cart" button : These pieces are located at various stores in the US. Please e-mail a note of interest in these pieces and we will help you purchase through the store or make the piece just for you if materials are still available in the studio! Pieces noted as sold but still available by special order: Please inquire by fax or e-mail regarding these pieces so that we may re-confirm that all of the available components are on hand. Once we confirm that the piece is made, we will notify you and post the image on the website along with a "buy now" button so that you may complete your purchase. Sorry, no C.O.D.'s Wholesale Accounts Please fax or mail a copy of your Business License and Resale Certificate to 415-753-2191. The items in the "Collections" category and the "One Fish, Two Fish" bracelets are available wholesale at a reduced margin as compared to the balance of the LRD line. The "Sale" category items are for retail customers only. Sales Tax Retail orders within the State of California are subject to a sales tax of 6%. Please add the appropriate tax amount where indicated if you are completing the order form. Shipping Generally, in stock items are shipped within 2-3 days of receipt of payment. You will be notified if the piece you have requested needs to made especially for you and how long it may take. Please make sure to clearly complete all of the shipping address and contact information to avoid any potential delays in processing your order. The typical shipping method used is US Mail, Insured. You may request other methods, which will be charged accordingly. Returns & Exchanges Laura Richmond Designs has made every effort to provide representational images and accurate descriptions of each item to assist you in making your selection and to minimize the need for returns. Refunds, less shipping and insurance charges, may be given within 3 days of purchase. You will need to send us a written request for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) prior to sending the item back. The returned item must be in new & saleable condition. A 10% restocking fee will be applied. These original jewelry designs are produced in very limited quantities. Orders for quantities of three or more of a style are considered custom orders as they would have to made especially to fulfill the request. This type of (custom) order is not returnable. Please inspect your order carefully when you receive it. If it has arrived damaged in any way, please notify Laura Richmond Designs at once. You will need to send a written request for an RMA to insure a proper refund or exchange for a damaged (or other) shipment. Sorry, for hygienic reasons, earrings are not returnable. Care Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight as it can alter the color of the components used in the jewelry designs. Please do not wear the jewelry pieces while swimming, bathing or performing any other under water acts of any kind and expect them to come through unscathed. This would be true for most jewelry. A soft jewelry cloth should be used from time to time for cleaning. No chemicals ever, please. Repairs These original jewelry pieces have been fabricated using accepted industry construction methods and materials. Any original jewelry pieces requiring repairs within the first 90 days of receipt that can be attributed to workmanship will be made and returned promptly at no expense to the purchaser. All other repairs carry a $10 minimum plus shipping and insurance. It is not unexpected that beaded jewelry may require re-stringing over time. Please feel free to contact us for a repair estimate. Privacy Information collected is strictly for the purpose of processing your order. Laura Richmond Designs will not sell, loan or otherwise distribute your information to other parties. Support Services At this time, we do not offer routine telephone support.
